Happy "Holiday Glam" for the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge!

"Holiday Glam" Card for The Greeting Farm's first
Farm Fresh Friday Challenge
of
2015!

Hello Crafters from Near and Far!

I hope 2015 finds you with a peaceful mind and an open heart, ready to create!  It has been YEARS since I have participated in a Farm Fresh Friday Challenge and I am so happy to be back at card making!!!

I chose Jill from the Creepin Creeper Crew Collection 1 as well as "Thanks" from the Hello-Go-Round set.  Any girl with an attitude and a cute poofy dress makes me giggle and needs to be adored by the blogesphere!

Jill has been colored in Copics and bedazzled a bit in Gold Stickles and Diamond Stickles!  I used Bubblegum Pink Dylusions Ink Spray for Jill's bright, splashy background!  The diamond frame background is actually from an Eau de Parfum Spray box which I just have not been able to part with because it is SO FAB (It originally housed Nicki Minaj's Minajesty parfum which I do love :D )  So to me, this card says GLAMOR all the way!  It has sparkle, Jill is adorned in black and gold and I'm not sure if she is ready to party or done with the party, but nonetheless, she is working that headband like no other creeper can!

I would like to take a moment to THANK the GREETING FARM for making some stamps showcasing girls with attitude and spunk!  They bring me so much joy.  Thank You!

Thank You all for taking a look!  Happy New Year!!!

Love,
         Buttercup :) xoxo

Hello Everyone,

Here is my Valentine's Day Baker, Peaches.  As you can see, she believes in being close to barefoot as she bakes a variety of cupcakes for a variety of people.  Comfort is key in Peaches' kitchen.
I was actually in bed sick when I doodled this little lady, dreaming of being well enough to bake for someone special.  Unfortunately, I am not quite well enough to do that, so here's a drawing of what I will be doing! Hopefully as soon as this weekend!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!  Valentine's Day has always been a fun day for me because it means red lipstick, love notes and candy!  Although no love notes were exchanged this year, it was full of red lipstick and candy apples on a stick!  Messy & delicious!

And now for a Poetic Moment with Buttercup:

Love is staying up too late,
riding the laughter,
listening to hearts as they open and dare to share another story or soulful stare.
Love is freedom to be who you are in this moment.
It’s honesty.
Openness.
Truth.
It starts at home.  With yourself.  Being comfy in your skin.
Because this is step 1, self love.  And you must achieve this before you are able to let anyone else in.

So get out there and LOVE YOURSELF!  You are beautiful.  Keep going.

And Happy Fluesday!  May I leave you with a song by DJ Flula.  <3 div="">

Much Love & Peace to You & Yours :)

Love,

          Buttercup :) xoxo

Ludwig Minkus Van Dente-Custom Doll

 Hello Everyone!!! :)

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Super Happy New Year!  Things over here have been wonderfully exhausting.  Acting, song-writing, exclusively dating :D among other things have been keeping this Buttercup super busy!  Oh, and this horrible cold that is going around has kept me stuck at home since LAST YEAR!  Can you believe it?!  Well, seeing as 2013 is only 5 days old, I guess that's not too hard to believe.  Enough about me, check out this Custom Figurine I made for  one of my uniquely wonderful friends :)

I name this Paperclay Doll "Ludwig Minkus Van Dente".  Two new and exciting things about this guy are 1. He has HAIR you can touch and move!!! And 2. His arms move too!  Since I have created a custom doll for this same friend before, I wanted to be sure this year's model was an upgrade with more interactive features!

Materials Used include but are not limited to: glass eyes, wood, foam, toothpicks, flower tape, paper clay, wire, gesso, various paints, yarn, rope, varnish, paper box, paper clay, crystals, glitter, black elastic for the mask and all kinds of glue!  I used tacky glue, e6000 and quickHOLD glue.

Here's yet-to-be-painted-Ludwig Minkus Van Dente.

The Final Look: Ludwig Minkus Van Dente on his glamourously, dark and sparkly road.

That's Ludwig Minkus Van Dente!  I hope you found a little inspiration and continue creating, finishing those projects and starting new and more challenging creations!

And since it is a New Year, I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes this time of year~

Ludwig Minkus Van Dente with his arms up! :)

Warmest Wishes to you all!

Love,

Buttercup :) xoxoxo

I LOVE CHRISTMAS and Halloween and ALL the Holidays even the ones I don't understand!  Yay Celebrating!!!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying your day today, and getting just the right amount of sunshine!!!

As for what I have been up to: Acting, Writing, Drawing and honestly, missing my handmade crafting!!! And the blogosphere!  I miss you guys :'(

Here in Phoenix, Arizona, there is this super FUN, super RAUNCHY 18 and over sketch comedy troupe called th[sic]sense sketch comedy troupe.  When I am available, I love to perform with them!  And when I am already booked elsewhere, I am thrilled to write for them!  We are talking 30 second to 7 minute little sketches which may or may not be filled with adult content but always full of love and laugh inducing material.  At least, that's the hope!

Our current show, which runs for one more weekend, is called th[sic]sense: No Class!  Aside from contributing 2 sketches, I also drew up this here FLYER!  Opening for us, we have been incredibly lucky to have Scott Gesser perform his original songs!  He is so clever and will make you laugh at things you swore you would never laugh at!  ONE DAY he will have a CD or you'll be able to download his hilarious music, but for now, trust.  Or, just come to his next show in AZ!

Now, back to crafts!

Materials Used for this Promotional Flyer:
