Favorite Background!

Hello Hello!

What is your favorite background technique?  Mine would have to be…any background which challenges my approach!  I thrive in learning new techniques, in experimenting and even failing!  For this background challenge at the Stampotique Designer Blog, I chose to use Teresa Collin's Modeling Paste with Dyan Reaveley's (for Ranger)'s stencil!  Other than that, I challenged myself to keep the background as simple as possible!  If you know me, you know I love to add stickles,  glitter, stickers, brads, flowers, ink sprays, distress ink,  anything!  I love to embellish and add layers upon layers.  Keeping it simple is quite challenging!

Materials Used:
Rubber Stamp by Daniel Torrente by Stampotique
"hello" cling stamp by Vintologie
Copics
Modeling Paste by Teresa Collins
Stencil by Dyan Reaveley for Ranger
Tape by Betsey Johnson!!!  It was part of a bangle bracelet decorating kit!!!
Oval Punch
Paper by Bazzill
Circus Stripe Cards by The Paper Studio
Black Momento Ink

Stampotique's Designer Challenge SDC188 "Favorite Background" is here.

Coloring is STILL AWESOME ;)

Back to Coloring with Saturated Canary Images!

Hello Bloggertons!

The time has come for me to share "Beach Pretty", a digi by Krista Smith for Saturated Canary!  I have been so inspired by all of the participants of her current Color Challenge which you may learn more about here!  "Beach Pretty" is just what her name implies:  Pretty and ready for the beach!!!  This card creation has made me yearn for some ocean breeze and a day of sleeping on the sand.  Ahh..doesn't that sound divine?  I will answer my own question:  it does!  :)  Until I make a little trip to Cali, this card will have to do.  Wherever you are, be it on a beach, in a desert, a glacial tundra etc., I hope you feel the quiet beauty of your surrounding land.  And if you don't, what's wrong with making an art journal entry of a contrasting landscape? ;)

CHARMing Card!

Hello Crafters!

Every time we make a card, create something and give it to another, what we are really doing is spreading joy and love.  I am a huge fan of spreading joy and love and with Tiddly Ink's stamps, it's easy to do!!!

I hope this day finds you well.  I am happy to be here and to have made a simple card inspired by the Tiddly Ink's Challenge blog here.  This week's challenge is to add a charm to your creation!  The little copper colored leaf on the right corner, is my "charm".
