"It's a Girl Thing" Stampotique Designer Challenge

WELCOME Crafty Bloggers! This card here is inspired by both the Stampotique Designer's Challenge (for a girly girl project using your favorite stamps) and by the birth of my friend's baby girl!!! What is more girly than a beautiful baby girl?

PRODUCTS: For that soft, sweet feminine feel, I used Sugar Nellie's "Bumble Bee" stamp (which I then colored in with Copics: RV00, RV93, V95 & E02 for dress, wings and hairclip/E13, E37 & E49 for hair/E11, E13, Roo & E02 for skin). The papers in the background (stripes and floral designs) are scrap scrapbooking papers which I glued together and then punched the corners of with a decorative corner punch. A dark purple laser cut trim for the bottom edge. The pale pink cardstock is from The Paper Studio's Brights. Bumble Bee was stamped on Canson's Fan Boy paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Edges of both planes of paper were first inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink TEA DYE with Brilliance Pearlescent CRIMSON over it. I hand marked with a white paint pen all those little lines all the way around the top and sides. 3 Flowers with little brads. And for the finishing girly touch: Tim Holtz Stickles of course! Stickles added some sparkle to the little heart designs on her dress, hairclip, wings and to the flowers!

Thank You for Blogging By! I hope to continue creating and sharing with you all:)

Love, Buttercup
